HOW TO REACH PALANI HILL TEMPLE
There are 4 ways to reach Palani hills from below. They are 1. Steps Route, 2. Elephant path, 3. Winch facility and 4. Rope car facility.
STEPS ROUTE : People have to walk on 689 steps, which will be one of the best experiences in your life. The scenic beauty and the cool breeze will not make one tired of walking.
ELEPHANT ROUTE : This route was actually constructed for the elephants to climb up the mountain. This route can also be taken by the people. There is a small water source in this route and it is called as Valli Sonai. People are not advised to take this route when there is a group of elephant traveling in this route, as this is very dangerous.
WINCH WAY : This facility is mainly provided for the children and oldage people who cannot climb up the hills. 3 winches are operated here and only nominal charges are collected here
ROPE CAR : The rope car facility is also available to reach the temple. It will take around 3 minutes to cross 323 meters
